About

More About Us

DataYard was founded in 1995 in Dayton, Ohio, by David Mezera and Raleigh Sandy III as Donet (Dayton Ohio Network). The company initially provided Internet services to consumers, but began focusing on the technology needs of businesses a few years later.

The Result of a Focused Strategic Vision

In 2012, the company was rebranded as DataYard to better represent the mission, vision, and service offerings that the company has grown to encompass. Through the years, our clients have counted on our stability, reliability, and honesty to keep their businesses secure and running smoothly. Today, we provide clients with not only dependable Internet access, but also server co-location in our state-of-the-art Data Center, scalable cloud computing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) options, and data backup and storage services.

The Crossroads of Industry

At DataYard, we believe that internet technology is as important to modern business as electricity.  It is the crossroads of industry for the 21st century. Without it, productivity unacceptably slows, or halts altogether.  Furthermore, we believe that achieving the level of reliability that businesses demand is difficult and expensive.

We exist to walk with our customers as a trusted partner, building reliable servers and networks for their mission-critical applications and data, and making this technology easy for them to use. We strive to make it so seamless that our clients forget about it completely.

Finding Strength in Community

DataYard is committed to supporting our local community. Over the years, we have contributed technological capabilities to a variety of organizations in the Dayton area, including the Victoria Theatre Association, the Dayton Convention Center, the Downtown Dayton Partnership, the Dayton Foundation, St. Vincent DePaul, the Dayton Dragons, WFCJ 93.7 FM, WYSO 91.3 FM, Technology First, and countless local churches and non-profits. We find strength in supporting those who support our community.
